FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to the creation of composite materials by impregnating a porous frame. The method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite workpiece in a copper electrolyte solution. The porous workpiece is coated with a two-layer electroplated coating consisting of an inner copper layer and an outer nickel-containing layer. The workpiece is impregnated in the impregnation chamber with antimony matrix alloy melt under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the lead melt in the pressure chamber when heated by 100°C above the liquidus temperature of the antimony matrix alloy simultaneously with the lead melt. In this case, the outer nickel-containing layer of a two-layer galvanic coating is made of a nickel-boron layer consisting of 98.5 wt.% nickel and 1.5 wt.% of boron deposited by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 15 g/l of nickel chloride, 100 g/l of nickel sulfamate, 25 g/l of boric acid and 4 g/l of alkyl borane.
