FIELD: space industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manual valves, in particular, designed for filling and draining a liquid thermal control system of spacecraft with a chemically aggressive coolant while maintaining external tightness in a wide range of temperatures and pressures of the coolant. The filling valve for chemically aggressive media contains a body with a locking device and a filling connection including two plugs and sealing elements. One of these plugs, and namely an external plug, is made with a hexagonal protrusion, and the other one, and namely an internal plug, is made with a hexagonal cavity. There are cylindrical recesses of different diameters with the formation of a stepped surface on the inner surface of the fitting. They are used for contact with the protruding parts of the plugs. The sealing elements on the contact surface of the inner plug with the fitting are a fluoroplastic gasket, on the contact surface of the outer plug with the fitting there is a metal gasket. Plugs are installed with the ability to remove them when connecting ground equipment. The locking device contains a self-aligning valve that provides a tight fit on the seat and bellows.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating a structure that provides the required level of external tightness of the valve during its operation, while observing the tightness of the valve seat on the seat.
