SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transportation, particularly to a design of a window with a vertically moving glazed frame and a drying apparatus. A window with a vertically moving glazed frame comprises a drying apparatus with a vertically movable valve part (10) with a valve head (16) and a stationary valve part (12) with a drain (24) configured to be closed by the valve head (16) and with a window counterweight. The vertically movable valve part (10) is fixed on a vertically movable counterweight (8) so that when the window with a vertically moving glazed frame is opened, the movable valve part is elevated and separated from the stationary valve part simultaneously with the counterweight, wherein the valve head is located at a distance from the drain and thus the drain is opened.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the design.
