SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a switching system for external devices for a workstation with two independent computer modules and one set of external devices, including: a first computer module (CM-1) including at least: one processor, a RAM, a GPIO_CM-1 interface, a USB controller, an HDMI controller, an audio codec, connected to a KVM switch, a second computer module (CM-2), including at least: one processor, a RAM, a GPIO_CM-2 interface, a USB controller, an HDMI controller, an audio codec, connected to a KVM switch, a KVM-switch (KVM) including: D-triggers D1, D2, D3, responsible for switching the interfaces assigned to a corresponding D-trigger between the CM-1 and the CM-2, wherein the D1 trigger is responsible for switching the audio interface, the D2 trigger is responsible for switching the keyboard and the mouse manipulator connected to the USB interfaces, the D3 trigger is responsible for switching the information display apparatus connected to the HDMI interface, at least two interfaces for connecting the USB keyboard and the mouse manipulator, an HDMI interface for connecting the information display apparatus, an audio interface for connecting the audio apparatus, a GPIO interface (GPIO_CM-1) connected to the CM-1, a GPIO interface (GPIO_CM-2) connected to the CM-2, configured to: receive control signals from the CM-1 processor via the GPIO_CM-1 interface and from the CM-2 processor via the GPIO_CM-2 interface, wherein each computer module can send a control signal to the D-trigger only to switch to another computer module without a possibility of switching back, redirect signals according to the state of the D-triggers from the corresponding computer module CM-1 or CM-2, received from the keyboard and the mouse manipulator connected to two USB interfaces, signals received by the information display apparatus connected to the HDMI interface, and signals received by the audio apparatus connected to the audio interface.

EFFECT: ensuring information security, increasing the protection of a workstation using one set of external devices, consisting of a mouse manipulator, a keyboard, an audio apparatus, and an information display apparatus, for two computer modules.
