FIELD: image data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analysis of image of text documents in any formats in order to identify falsifications in text information and determine the authenticity of documents. Proposed is a method for obtaining digital duplicates of a document in form of paper textual information medium or in form of an image of a text document, intended to identify falsification in the examined document. The method involves using a multifunctional video microscopic spectral complex. According to the method, the image of said document is displayed on the screen of a first monitor, alternately and/or simultaneously illuminated in a predetermined sequence, changing the angle of illumination, using said light emitters through corresponding light filters, ultraviolet emitters, white light emitters, and infrared emitters. The image of said document, illuminated in the described way, is then fixed on the first monitor by means of a digital video microscope, and digital duplicates of the document are created in form of a set of digital representations of images thereof obtained in separate areas of the spectrum and in the area of overlap of electromagnetic emission spectra.
