FIELD: image development.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a developing device for supplying a developer for forming images, a process cartridge that includes a developing device and which can be mounted on and removed from an image forming device, and an image forming device for forming an image by means of a developer supplied from the developing device. The claimed group of inventions includes variants of developing devices, variants of technological cartridges and variants of image forming devices. Moreover, the developing device comprises: a developing unit having a developing chamber configured to supply the image-bearing element with a developer, and a developer supply chamber configured to supply the developer to said developing chamber, supported with the possibility of swinging and configured to supply the developer to the image-bearing element and a urging member configured to urge said developing unit in a first direction toward the image bearing member by a urging force, said developing unit including an inwardly extending wall portion formed on said developing chamber, and wherein when said developing unit moves in a second direction opposite to the first direction, against the urging force, said inwardly extending wall portion is capable of contacting with a restricting member configured to limit the amount of movement of said developing unit in the second direction.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a developing device, a process cartridge and an image forming device that are capable of suppressing the impact due to movement of the developing unit during transportation without increasing the size of the developing unit.
