SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system for preventing erroneous (incorrect) installation of a cartridge on a main housing of an image forming device. Disclosed system for preventing erroneous installation comprises: first cartridge, including first restricted section, a second cartridge including a protruding portion and a second delimited portion, a main body of the first device configured to allow the first cartridge to be mounted thereon and to prevent the second cartridge from mounting thereon and the second body main body, configured to prevent installation of first cartridge and to provide installation of second cartridge on main body of second device, wherein the main body of the second device includes a recessed portion and a limiting member configured to move between the restriction position, in which the first and second cartridges are limited in the installation on it, and the uncontrolled position, in which the first and second cartridges are not limited in the installation on it, wherein the first cartridge does not include a portion corresponding to the protruding portion of the second cartridge, and the first housing of the first device includes a surface portion in a position corresponding to the recessed portion of the main housing of the second device, and does not include an element corresponding to a restricting element of the main body of the second device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling design of a system for preventing an erroneous installation, using a simple structured main body of the device.
