FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a movable element configured to move while carrying a plurality of such cartridges, first and second positioning areas of the main unit and a conveyor belt. The cartridge includes a light-sensitive drum having on one end an area which receives moving force and a frame for supporting the drum. At the longitudinal ends of the frame there are supported areas for holding the cartridge on the movable element. At the longitudinal ends of the frame, coaxial with the drum, there is a first and a second positioning area for respectively positioning on the first and second positioning areas of the main unit when lowering the movable element to the conveyor belt. At one end of the frame there is a longitudinal positioning area for positioning the cartridge in the longitudinal direction relative the corresponding area of the main unit and a movable area on the upper surface of the frame for receiving the force of the elastic member of the main unit directed downwards with inclination for moving the longitudinal positioning area of the cartridge to the longitudinal positioning area of the main unit, and for moving the second positioning area to the second positioning area of the main unit, in a state where the first and second positioning areas are positioned on the first and second positioning areas of the main unit.

EFFECT: high accuracy of positioning the cartridge during installation in the main unit of the device.
