FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, when the overhead line (OHL) (1) is taken for repair, said line is grounded from all ends using grounding blades (4) from the side of the distribution apparatuses. The area of potential equalisation area during the repair works is determined, wherein the potential equalisation tools (7), e.g., metal grids, metal sheets, are located within said area, interconnected. The potential equalisation tools (7) are connected to the additional grounding (8). The main grounding (5) is installed on the OHL (1) taken for repair and is connected with the potential equalisation tools (7).
EFFECT: provided is protection of repair personnel in the event of potential removal in case of short circuits (SCs) at the connections of the substation under a working voltage.
