FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry. According to the method on an overhead line that is energized, only the supports of the overhead line are subject to grounding. The value of the maximum touch voltage on the overhead line supports and the potential equalization zone during the work are determined. Within the potential equalization zone, metal sheets, grids are placed on the ground, portable grounding devices are installed, and they are electrically connected to each other and connected to artificial and natural grounding conductors.
EFFECT: ensuring reliable protection of repair personnel from electric shock when working on overhead power lines (OL) under voltage.
