SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural mechanical engineering, namely to self-propelled agricultural machines equipped with a fuel tank designed for supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine. The fuel tank of the agricultural machine includes a reservoir for fuel equipped with a filler neck with a cap that has valves for aligning pressure inside and outside the tank, a fuel receiver, a line for returning fuel to the tank, a sump with a tape for draining the sludge, as well as a fuel level sensor. Inside the main volume of the tank, a consumption reservoir is located, which is filled with fuel, when the engine operates. The fuel is pumped from the bottom zone of the main volume of the tank by means of a jet pump actuated by fuel jet from the line for returning fuel to the tank. The fuel receiver of the system for supplying fuel to the engine receives fuel from the lower part of the consumption reservoir. When fueling the agricultural machine from the filler neck, fuel is supplied directly to the consumption reservoir, and only when the consumption reservoir is filled, fuel is supplied to the main volume of the fuel tank. The overflow of fuel from the consumption reservoir into the main volume of the fuel tank during the parking of the agricultural machine is prevented by means of an anti-spillage valve.

EFFECT: invention allows for reducing unused fuel residue, as well as preventing air penetration to the system for supplying fuel to the engine when working on a slope or when passing unevenness with a low fuel residue due to the outflow of fuel from the fuel receiver.
