FIELD: agricultural product processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of devices for washing and grinding root crops. The installation contains a hollow housing (1) with a loading funnel (2), a feeding screw (3) installed in the cavity of the housing (1). On the front part of the helicoid of the screw, staggered knives (4) are installed. The installation contains a replaceable grinding body, made in the form of a knife (5) and fixed to the shaft shank (6), installed coaxially inside the feed screw (3) with the possibility of joint or independent rotation relative to the latter, an unloading window (7), covered by a deck (8), made in the form of a replaceable separating plate. The unit additionally contains a washing area, in which the nozzles are located diametrically on the horizontal axis of symmetry of the housing at an angle α to the vertical axis of symmetry of the housing. There are slits in the lower part of the body of the washing area. The installation is mounted on a frame consisting of four supports, between which a pallet is fixed, the bottom of which is made with slopes to the drain pipe.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced labor intensity and increased productivity of preparing feed from root crops.
