SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing agricultural products and can be used for washing and chopping root crops. The combined plant for washing and chopping root crops contains a hollow housing with a loading funnel, a feeding auger installed in the cavity of the housing. On the front part of the helicoid of the auger, knives are installed in a staggered order. The replaceable grinding body is made in the form of a knife and is fixed on the shaft shank mounted coaxially inside the feeding auger, with the possibility of joint or independent rotation relative to the latter. The discharge window is covered by a deck made in the form of a replaceable separating plate. The installation includes a washing zone in which rotary nozzles are located diametrically on the horizontal axis of symmetry of the housing at an angle α to the vertical axis of symmetry of the housing. Slots are made in the lower part of the housing of the washing zone. The installation is mounted on a frame consisting of four supports, between which a pallet is fixed, the bottom of which is made with slopes to the drain pipe. The installation includes a closed-cycle water purification system.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce labor intensity, increase productivity and ensure savings in water consumption when preparing feed from root crops.
