FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology, namely to the construction of optimal system networks of supercomputers with the topology of multidimensional toroid. The effect is achieved by the fact that a method is proposed for constructing a system network in the form of multidimensional tori with a large number of subscribers, with a low data transmission delay and with channel fault tolerance from low-port routers and duplex channel splitters with a multiplexer/demultiplexer function, while extended routers are used in the torus nodes duplex ports, composed of small port routers with duplex ports and duplex channel splitters.
EFFECT: possibility of constructing a toroid network of large dimension with the possibility of increasing the scalability of the network, the speed of the network and its channel fault tolerance.
