FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics. The sound system contains the first loudspeaker, the second loudspeaker, the processor, and two filters. The first and second loudspeakers have at least partially overlapping frequency ranges, wherein the first loudspeaker is configured to obtain a frequency response within at least one first operating frequency band specified in the frequency range of the first loudspeaker, and the second loudspeaker is configured to obtain a frequency response within at least one second operating frequency band defined in the frequency range of the second speaker. The resulting frequency response of the sound system at the first location consists of a frequency response within the first operating frequency band and a frequency response within the second operating frequency band. The processing device is configured to measure the frequency response of the first loudspeaker head, measure the frequency response of the second loudspeaker head, and analyze the measured frequency characteristics. The analysis includes determining the locations of the dips in the specified frequency response, and setting the first and second operating frequency bands in response to the determination based on the specified analysis.

EFFECT: equalization of sound for all audible frequencies.
