FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to the field of preparation and processing of associated petroleum gas. The associated petroleum gas preparation method includes the following sequential stages: cooling of the associated petroleum gas (APG) flow in the first recuperative heat exchanger to a temperature from 5°C to 20°C by the return APG flow coming after liquid separation; cooling of the APG flow to a temperature from 0°C to 10°C in the second recuperative heat exchanger connected to the cooling circuit; separation of the liquid from the APG flow in the separator on at least one separation element and its removal; heating of the APG flow leaving the separator after separation of the liquid.
EFFECT: ensuring a high degree of separation of liquid and mechanical impurities from the gas stream, reducing the degree of hydrate formation while increasing the energy efficiency of the installation, improving the weight and size characteristics and simplifying the design.
