FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic transducer is comprised of a sound generating unit and a sound emitting surface. The sound generating unit is configured to generate an ultrasonic wave. The sound emitting surface constitutes a spherical surface with a first cut, a second cut and a third cut, wherein one large circumference of the sphere corresponding with the sound emitting surface is the main large circumference, the first cut and the second cut are located at two intersections of the spherical surface and the diameter perpendicular to the main large circumference, respectively, and the third slice connects the first cut with the second cut. Within certain distances from the main large circumference, on either side of the main large circumference, respectively, the cross-section of the sound emitting surface, parallel to the main large circumference, is arc-shaped, the hole of the arc corresponds with the third cut, and the central angle corresponding with the arc is more than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees. The sound emitting surface is capable of reflecting ultrasound, and the ultrasonic wave generated by the sound generating unit is focused on the centre of the sphere corresponding with the sound emitting surface. The apparatus for treatment with focused ultrasound comprises an ultrasound transducer.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions allows to increase the safety of treatment.
