FIELD: heat-insulating products.

SUBSTANCE: mineral wool insulating element contains: mineral wool layer containing mineral fibers; the first non-metallic mesh located on the first major surface of the mineral wool layer; a second, preferably non-metallic mesh located on the second major surface of the mineral wool layer; and multiple fasteners designed to connect the first and second non-metallic mesh to each other to hold the mineral wool layer sandwiched between the first and second mesh.

EFFECT: proposed mats can be used as an insulating layer in thermal insulation systems of industrial equipment.
