FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of building, namely to geocells intended for application as a reinforcing and separating layer in the structures of the subgrade of linear transport and geotechnical buildings, and to methods for manufacture thereof. The geocellular material is comprised of a plurality of strips interconnected at a plurality of connections to form a plurality of cells. At each connection, two or more adjacent strips of said plurality of strips are interconnected by an insertable element. Two or more adjacent strips of said plurality of strips are aligned, and cuts extending through said two or more adjacent strips in the longitudinal direction of said two or more adjacent strips are made therein. The insertable element consequently and alternately passes through the cuts to interconnect said two or more adjacent strips. Each of the connections is coated with a colloid covering each side surface of said two or more adjacent strips to completely cover the cuts and at least part of the insertable element. The thickness of the colloid applied to each side surface of said two or more adjacent strips is greater than or equal to the thickness of the corresponding strip of said two or more adjacent strips. According to another variant, the colloid covers the entire insertable element. The connections are encapsulated to form a colloid.

EFFECT: increased tear resistance at the connections of the strips and in reliability of the geocellular material.
