FIELD: sulfate lignin modifying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for modifying sulfate lignin. A method is proposed for modifying sulfate lignin by preliminary synthesis of acetyl nitrate from concentrated nitric acid and acetic anhydride to obtain a solution of acetyl nitrate in acetic acid, preparing a dioxane solution of sulfate lignin, mixing the resulting solutions and holding the reaction mixture with stirring, followed by isolation of modified sulfate lignin.
EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of obtaining nitro derivatives of acetylated sulfate lignin.
