SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sampling technique and is intended both for indirect sampling of gas from a gas pipeline into a container for transportation to the place of analysis of the component composition of a gas sample and for direct sampling when analyzing the dew point temperature, the content of mechanical impurities, mercaptan sulfur and hydrogen sulfide and can be used in oil and gas, petrochemical and other industries. The device has a sampling unit with an inlet ball valve and a sampling probe, which is installed in a housing rigidly fixed to the gas pipeline and is connected by a sample supply line made in form of tubes with an inlet valve to a sampling container fixed in the sampling cabinet, as well as a discharge line containing a flexible metal hose, pipes, a relief ball valve, an outlet pressure gauge and an outlet valve, installed in series at the outlet of the sampling container. The sample supply line is equipped with an inlet pressure gauge. The section of the discharge line between the relief ball valve and the outlet valve is connected to the section of the sample supply line between the inlet ball valve and the inlet pressure gauge by means of a blowdown line in the form of tubes with a ball valve. The sampling probe is made in the form of a seamless tube, fixed to the gas pipeline with a weld fitting. The connection of the tubes to the inlet ball valve, ball valve, inlet valve, inlet valve of the sample container, inlet pressure gauge, outlet valve, relief ball valve, outlet pressure gauge and flexible metal hose is made with crimp fittings.
