SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy, in particular to the prevention of hydrate formation in natural gas before its reduction, and in particular to the methods of heated gas reduction when it is supplied to the analyzer. The proposed method for heating natural gas during reduction includes heating the gas at the inlet to the reducer, heating the reducer and natural gas at the outlet from it by the heat of the exothermic chemical reaction of a powder mixture of iron, magnesium and sodium chloride with water carried out in the reactor of the device, directly at the point of connection to the sampling line gas pipeline. In the device for heating the gas when reducing the input 7 and output 12 heat exchangers are located inside the reactor 1, on the outer wall of the reactor 1 a reducer 9 heated by thermal contact with it is fixed, as well as a pressure gauge 15.
EFFECT: simplifying the implementation, increasing the explosion safety of the method for heating natural gas during the reduction carried out at the point of connection to the sample line of the gas pipeline before it is fed to the analyzer.
