SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry. Method for determining mechanical impurities in a natural gas by depositing particles from natural gas involves using a sampling point, a gas drum meter, a particle deposition device. Precipitation of mechanical impurities is carried out on an analytical aerosol filter of type AFA-WP-10, with a gas transmission rate of 200–250 dm3/h, with the subsequent determination of the amount of precipitated substances by a gravimetric (weight) method.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the possibility of reducing the duration of the determination of mechanical impurities in natural gas.
