SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and concerns a method for predicting the recurrence of non-developing pregnancy (NDP) in patients with persistent viral infection. The essence of the method: in the venous blood of a patient with a history of an undeveloped pregnancy that developed against the background of a mixed persistent viral infection, in the first week after spontaneous menstruation that occurred in the post-abortion period, two parameters of the interferon status, serum IFN and induced IFNα are determined once by an immunological method. If the level of serum IFN is below 2.0 U/ml and the level of induced IFNα is below 670 U/ml, the risk of relapse of an undeveloped pregnancy is predicted.

EFFECT: method has simplicity and high prognostic accuracy; the prediction of pathology is possible in the first week after spontaneous menstruation, which occurred after vacuum aspiration of NDP from the uterine cavity, which contributes to the early start of pathogenetic therapy; clinical application of the method will ensure adequate pathogenetic therapy and prevent adverse pregnancy outcomes.
