SUBSTANCE: suggested apparatus capable of predicting end of life (EOL) of a printing agent comprises a printing agent storage container with a refill hole whereby the printing agent is to be introduced into the container. The suggested apparatus also comprises a processor for receiving signals indicating the amount of the printing agent introduced through the refill hole. The processor is also intended to predict the end of life (EOL) of a printing agent based on the amount of the introduced printing agent.
