SUBSTANCE: piece of furniture, including a body (1) of a piece of furniture having an opening (9), a furniture cover (2) for closing the opening (9), and this furniture cover (2) sets the plane (D) of the cover, and the fittings (3) of the cover, which has a base element (10) that is fixed to the side wall of the body (1) of the furniture, a swivel bracket (11) that is fixed with the possibility of rotation on the base element (10), a connecting element (12) located on the side of the swivel bracket, which is connected with the possibility of rotation with a swivel bracket (11), a connecting element (14) located on the side of the cover, which has a mounting surface (15) located parallel to the plane (D) of the cover and which can be mounted on the connecting element (12) located on the side of the swivel bracket by moving relative to the connecting element (12) located on the side of the swivel bracket in the direction of (M) mounting parallel to the mounting surface (15), an inclined surface (17) on one of the two connecting elements (12, 14), which is located obliquely to the mounting surface (15), and a sliding element (18), which is located on the other of the two connecting elements (12, 14) and, when moving, the connecting element (14) located on the side of the cover slides in the direction of (M) mounting along the inclined surface (17).
