FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for producing soluble cellulose using wood material, as well as to soluble cellulose obtained by this method; the method includes following stages: a) hydrothermal treatment of wood material using steam and/or water; b) boiling of wood material obtained at stage a), with the production of cellulose mass by sulfate boiling, optionally - with a subsequent stage of oxygen delignification; c) cold caustic extraction (CSE) of cellulose mass; and d) dehydration, washing and pressing of the cellulose mass to obtain a cellulose product containing carbohydrates. Wood material is coniferous wood material; at the same time, a soft hydrothermal treatment is performed until the P-factor is reached, which lies in the range from 100 to 300, and cold-caustic extraction is performed until the total concentration of anhydromannose and anhydroxylose is equal to 5 wt. % or less of the carbohydrate content in the cellulose product.
EFFECT: method disclosed in this work fills the existing gap between the standard method for sulfate boiling using additives at the previous technology state, for example borate, and the method involving hard hydrothermal treatment.
