FIELD: cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to material processing by cutting; it can be used when processing holes with tools containing guide plates. A tole for processing holes contains a pocket for a plate and a guide plate fixed in it. The pocket for the plate contains a surface of a pocket base and a wedge-shaped element containing opposite upper and lower wedge surfaces forming an acute wedge angle between them. The lower wedge surface is adjacent to the surface of the pocket base, and the guide plate is adjacent to the upper wedge surface. An adjusting screw is adjacent to the wedge-shaped element and is made with the possibility of moving the wedge-shaped element along the surface of the pocket base. A clamping element passes through a wedge hole in the wedge-shaped element, and it is made with the possibility of fixing the guide plate and the wedge-shaped element in the pocket for the plate. A method for adjusting the height of the guide plate of the tool for processing holes and the assembly of the adjustable guide plate made with the possibility of installation in the pocket for the plate of the tool for processing holes are disclosed.
EFFECT: accuracy of hole processing is increased, vibrations and noise level are reduced.
