FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking device. Disclosed is an inhalation device assembly comprising a mouthpiece (632) and a heater (703). The heater comprises a rigid flat substrate that carries at least one part of the resistive element and at least a pair of contacts, each of which is connected to at least one part of the resistive element at one end of said contacts. The heater is flat and mounted on the substrate surface. The substrate carries a certain amount of the aerosolizable composition located on the substrate above the heater so that the heat generated by the resistive heating element is directly or indirectly transferred to the aerosolizable composition in order to cause it to aerosolize. In the mouthpiece of the assembly, at least a fluid inlet (720) and a fluid outlet (702) are provided near the rear and front ends thereof, respectively, and a fluid connection means. The heater is disposed within the mouthpiece with at least parts of the contacts that are exposed and accessible so that the electrical connection can be easily established when the rear end of the mouthpiece is connected to said inhalation device. The surface of the substrate on which the aerosolizable composition is deposited is positioned within or near said fluid coupling means such that when the fluid flows and aerosolization of the composition occurs simultaneously, the generated aerosol is carried away in the fluid flowing through said fluid connection means.

EFFECT: invention allows controlling the amount of heated and evaporated aerosol composition and reducing the energy spent on heating.
