FIELD: athletic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of athletic equipment and is intended for adjusting the load in athletic exercise machines during the exercise of the user. The apparatus for adjusting the load comprises a slider configured to move along a rocker arm hingedly attached to the body and to a rod hingedly connected with a lever rigidly connected with the handles of the machine; a seat of the exercise machine, connected with the rocker arm; a handle, and the rocker arm is attached to the body through a hinge located in the central part. The adjustment screw and rod, bushings, a movable element, a load indicator, casings, attachment elements are introduced. The rocker arm is made with a longitudinal groove wherein the introduced adjustment screw and rod, bushings, movable element, load indicator are placed. The adjustment screw retained from longitudinal movement in the bushings is made with a thread corresponding to the thread of the movable element located on the adjustment screw between the bushings rigidly attached on the rocker arm. The adjustment rod is rigidly attached to the slider at one end and to the movable element at the other end. The load indicator is rigidly fixed on the movable element, the casings are attached on the rocker arm, the handle is rigidly attached at the end of the adjustment screw.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of exercise due to the ensured smooth adjustment of the load.
