FIELD: aircraft.

SUBSTANCE: airplane wing control mode switch contains a power housing attached to the front panel, a key, into the central axial opening of which a spring-loaded switch rod is inserted by the upper end with fixation by pins, and equipped at the lower end with a mode switching fork covering the heads of two rods of electromechanical toggle switches installed in the lower part of the switch power housing, a slider providing sequential execution of movements of the switch rod along its axis and in a plane normal to the vertical plane of symmetry of the aircraft, the power switch housing is equipped with a guide groove in which the said slider is installed, endowed with an open longitudinal groove coaxial to the switch rod axis with the function of a vertical guide channel, the contour of which is made congruent to the contour of the cross-section of the said rod. The heads of the rods of the said toggle switches are inserted into the fork of the said rod of the control mode switch; moreover, the rod is equipped with a compression spring, and the switch key is endowed in the bottom part with two protrusions corresponding to the grooves in the power housing, spring-loaded fixing the key in the "main/back-up flap control on" position. The plane of symmetry in the bottom part of the key protrusions is located normally to the plane of the key operating displacements in the process of switching the flap control modes; in addition, the key is endowed with an enlarged base, which is made in one piece with a forked lock of the neutral position of the double handles for back-up control of the working movements of the flaps.

EFFECT: invention provides minimization of the time for putting the back-up control into operation, visual control of the activation of the main or back-up control modes, the impossibility of accidental operation of the switch, increase in the reliability and safety of flights, reduction in size and weight, reduction of material consumption and labor intensity of manufacturing the device as a whole.
