FIELD: conveying devices.
SUBSTANCE: conveying device comprises a first conveying section for delivering the vessels and a second conveying section that is intended for removing the vessels. In addition, the conveying device comprises a transferring device having a pivoting cylinder, a clamping belt and a correcting device. The correction device allows adjusting the length of the clamping belt in the area of the transferring device. The pivoting cylinder and/or the clamping belt are driven. The pivoting cylinder and the clamping belt are capable of holding the vessels between the pivoting cylinder and the clamping belt and thereby transfer from the first transport station to the second transport station. The pivoting cylinder contains one or more rings for supporting the vessels and a belt support member that is positioned so that the clamping belt bears against it when there are no vessels on the transferring device. Vessels can be transported at irregular intervals and filling and emptying can be carried out with low friction losses.
