SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of production and modernization of armored habitable objects, in particular armored vehicles. The substance of the inventions lies in the fact that during the modernization of an armored inhabited object, inside its armored body made of hardened metal armor, attachments are fixed, excluding the temperature effect on the hardened armor. Inside the protected volume, at a given distance from the walls of the armored body, there is a load-bearing wall fixed relative to the walls of the armored body and made of solid structural material, and the attachment elements for attachments located inside the protected volume are fixed in the load-bearing wall, which is configured to be fixed in it in the process of modernization of the armored body of additional attachment elements for additional attachments, and/or changing the location of the attachment elements of previously installed attachments. The bearing walls are made of a material that additionally performs the function of protecting the habitable volume from penetration of damaging elements or their ricochet.

EFFECT: invention increases reliability of protection due to the preservation of the strength properties of the hardened armored sheet.
