FIELD: industrial ventilation systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used in gas purification and aspiration systems for transporting air, aerosols and gases in various chemical and technological processes, and can be used in chemical laboratories, on galvanizing lines, at non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises and at other enterprises where there are environments that cause increased corrosion. To achieve these results, a fan is proposed consisting of a fan housing consisting of a prismatic part, a suction nozzle and a discharge nozzle, an impeller mounted on an electric motor shaft, characterized in that the fan housing and the impeller are made of sheet thermoplastics, and the fan inlet and outlet directions are arranged linearly, while the suction nozzle of the housing is made in the form of a diffuser, and the discharge nozzle of the housing is made in the form of a confuser.
EFFECT: increase in the service life of the device when working in aggressive environments while maintaining the mechanical stability of the device; acquirement the properties of immunity to aggressive environments by the device; the absence of corrosion; the ability to move gases at elevated temperatures (up to 100 degrees Celsius); the creation of a fan with a universal housing without dividing into left and right and with the possibility of installation in the ventilation network without reference to the direction of rotation of the fan impeller; noise reduction; reduction of fan weight; improvement of aerodynamic characteristics while maintaining the possibility of using the fan in any chemical laboratories, metallurgical enterprises, electroplating industries; creation of a fan with the possibility of installation in the ventilation network regardless of the direction of rotation of the impeller and the position of the fan housing
