SUBSTANCE: in the method for determining the operating mode of an agricultural vehicle, an input parameter is entered into a computing unit, while the computing unit prepares a characteristic diagram of the operating parameters of the vehicle based on the input parameter. The optimal operating mode is determined based on the characteristic diagram and/or output from memory, taking into account the position of the vehicle. The computing unit determines the current operating mode based on the received vehicle parameters. The current operating mode is compared with the optimal operating mode. The displayed operating mode, operating parameters and/or vehicle parameters are adjusted by interacting with the corresponding graphical representation of the operating mode and/or the corresponding parameter.

EFFECT: efficiency of reducing power loss is increased.
