SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a snuff container containing base (102) and lid (106), which is attached to the base of the container with the possibility of removal. Container (100) also contains sealing label (1) for sealing snuff container (100), containing structural layer (2) and having first and second side edges (3, 4) extending in length direction (L), and first and second end edges (5, 6) extending in width direction (W). Sealing label (1) is divided in mentioned width direction (W) into area (11) of attachment to the lid of the container, area (12) of attachment to the base of the container and area (13) of the tear strip located between area (11) of attachment to the lid of the container and area (12) of attachment to the base of the container and ending with tongue (7) located on first end edge (5). Structural layer (2) of sealing label (1) is a single structural layer of sealing label (1), which consists of a mono-oriented polymer film having an orientation direction that coincides with length direction (L) of mentioned sealing label (1).
