FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and pulse technology and can be used as a self-oscillating or start-stop generator of rectangular pulses. The technical result is provided by the fact that the multivibrator contains the first and second bipolar transistors, the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth resistors, the first and second capacitors, the power bus, the first, second and third logic elements, while providing different-threshold elements with different steepness of the fronts by turning on the first and second bipolar transistors forming a transistor key according to the scheme with a common emitter and having a low threshold and a flat front, as well as turning on the first and second logic elements with a high threshold and a steep front, and the subsequent summation by the third logic element of the antiphase pulses from the first and second logic elements, followed by the removal of the frequency from the summing third logic element of the high-speed CMOS chip. The formation of output pulses, the shape of which is close to a perfectly rectangular one, is provided by the use of logic elements and their inclusion in the circuit in the specified way.
EFFECT: doubling the generated frequency at the same nominal values of the incoming elements, which expands the range towards the upper frequencies, in increasing the load capacity, in reducing the error in the shape of the output pulses.
