FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: current converter (1) includes a primary conductor (11), a body (9) wherethrough the primary conductor (11) is passed, an inductive alternate current sensor (13) with at least one secondary coil (21) located in the body (9), and a compensation current sensor (15) with a compensation coil (23) located in the body (9) for creating a compensation magnetic field compensating for the primary magnetic field created by the primary conductor (11), and with a magnetometer (25) for recording the sum of the primary magnetic field and the compensation magnetic field.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of current recording.
