FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology. A broadband AC current sensor on a thin ferromagnetic film contains a magnetic field sensor placed in an air gap of an annular core, through which at least one conductor with a current to be measured passes, and a compensation coil wound on the annular core. The novelty is that a highly sensitive broadband sensor of weak magnetic fields based on microstrip resonators with thin magnetic films is used as a magnetic field sensor, and the mode of compensation measurements of this sensor is realized due to feedback carried out using a compensation coil wound on a ring core, and its axis of sensitivity is directed tangentially to the circumference of the annular core.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the sensitivity of the device and an expansion of the frequency band.
