SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aqueous polymer emulsions. Aqueous polymer emulsion is proposed containing: i) in the form of polymerized links, from 20 to 79.80% of dry vinyl acetate mass per the total dry polymer mass; ii) in the form of polymerized links, from 20 to 79.80% of dry monomer mass of α, β-ethylene unsaturated carboxylic acid ester per the total dry polymer mass; iii) in the form of polymerized links, from 0.1 to 5% of dry monomer stabilizer mass per the total dry polymer mass; iv) from 0.05 to 0.5% of dry mass of anion and/or non-ion surfactant per the total dry polymer mass, while the viscosity of the specified aqueous polymer emulsion is less than 100 cP, and emulsion does not contain protective colloid. Aqueous adhesive composition containing the specified emulsion is also proposed.

EFFECT: proposed aqueous polymer emulsion has low viscosity and acceptable storage stability, and aqueous adhesive composition containing the specified emulsion provides good adhesive and thermal bonding strength.
