FIELD: grinding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bead mills and can be used for processing fluid crushable material. The bead mill is comprised of a hopper, a working cavity defined by a hopper wall, and a stirrer with a rotor, rotating around the middle longitudinal axis. Tools extending towards the hopper wall are placed on the rotor. The bead mill comprises an inner stator located inside the rotor. A channel for removal of the crushed material is made between the rotor and the outer wall of the inner stator, wherein the crushed material is directed through said channel to the separator and then to the outlet line. The working cavity is filled, at least partially, with grinding bodies. A separator is located above the inner stator. The distance "s" between the rotor and the separator of the grinding bodies is determined as: s = 0.5 x (d351 - d30) <5 x c, wherein d351 is the inner diameter of the rotor, d30 is the diameter of the separator, c is the diameter of the grinding bodies.
EFFECT: bead mill allows reducing the amount of grinding bodies washed onto the screen.
