SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and pharmacology, namely to 7,9-dibromo-2,4-dioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrochromeno[2,3-d]-pyrimidinium-10 of the formula 1, where X is selected from a group consisting of = CH3COO- and HOOCCH2CH2COO-, or to its tautomeric, hydrate form, solvate and complex compound. The invention also relates to a drug and a pharmaceutical composition based on a compound of the formula 1 or its derivatives, the use of a compound of the formula 1 or its derivatives or a composition based on them, a method for the treatment of diseases caused by bacterial infections.
EFFECT: new derivatives of 7,9-dibromo-2,4-dioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrochromeno[2,3-d]-pyrimidinium-10 are obtained, useful for the treatment of bacterial infections, for example, such as bacterial infections of oropharynx, skin, mucous membranes, urinary system, implants, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, osteomyelitis, sepsis, nosocomial and wound infections.
