FIELD: lifting and transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and transport engineering and is intended for use in control systems for lifting cranes. The method consists in transferring the control of the lifting crane from the crane operator staying in the cab to the slinger, who controls the crane through a remote control device. Control is carried out in a given area of operation by a crane, for slinging cargo, when the hook is located in a given zone. After that, the slinger transfers the control of the crane back to the crane operator to move the cargo to the desired place. The boundaries of the remote control zone of the crane are set in the vertical and horizontal plane, by changing the spatial position of the actuators and elements of the crane, or by manually entering values, their required position or their absolute coordinates that determine the position of the actuators and elements of the crane.
EFFECT: increase in the safety of lifting crane control and an increase in the speed and accuracy of loading and unloading operations.
