FIELD: solar power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to arrays of solar energy concentrators and, in particular, to systems and methods for thermal control of arrays of solar energy concentrators. Thermal control system for controlling the temperature of a selectively reflecting panel is disclosed. The thermal control system includes an array of solar energy concentrators, a temperature sensor and a controller. The array of solar energy concentrators is located in the selectively reflecting panel, and it has a set of reflectors located in groups of reflectors. The temperature sensor tracks the temperature of the selectively reflecting panel in the place of the temperature sensor location. The controller tracks the local temperature of the selectively reflecting panel using the temperature sensor and, based on this, forms a control signal sent to the array of solar energy concentrators. The control signal controls the array of solar energy concentrators for placing the selected number of reflectors on the array of concentrators in the diverting position based on tracking implemented by the temperature sensor. The selected number of reflectors is determined for controlling the local temperature of the selectively reflecting panel.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of controlling the local temperature of the selectively reflecting panel.
