FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical technology, namely to processing of composite materials, and can be used for producing clay pigeon targets. A composite material for producing clay pigeon targets for clay target shooting, consisting of a binding agent, a filler and a modifying additive, rosin esters of rosin with a softening point of 95 to 110° are used as a binding agent, a mineral powder with a particle size of 10 to 60 mcm is used as a filler, a plasticizer is used as a modifying additive, the weight ration of the binding agent and the filler is 20 to 25% and 75 to 80%, respectively, the plasticizer is added in a quantity of 0 to 1% of the total weight of the filler and the binding agent. The composites are produced by mixing at a temperature of 160 to 190°C, the composition is molded into a target in a stamping machine by pressing and simultaneously cooling the target to 45 to 60°C for 10 to 25 seconds.

EFFECT: improvement of technological and qualitative characteristics of the clay pigeon targets made of an environmentally sustainable composite.
