FIELD: materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of composite materials and can be used for production of coloured target plates made from thermoplastic materials. Technical result is achieved by a method of producing target plates, including melting binder, mixing binder with filler to produce composition while heating, feeding composition and moulding target. Binder used is polymeric petroleum resin with softening temperature 95–100 °C and density 1.06±0.02 g/cm3 in amount of 20–23 % of total weight. Composition is obtained at temperature 210–220 °C. Controlled parameter of technology is density of composition, value of which is equal to 2.00–2.05 g/cm3. Moulding and cooling of target to 50–55 °C for 5–15 s, and colouring of target.
EFFECT: improved process and quality characteristics of target plates made from environmentally safe composite.
