FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: turbine impeller is provided with a groove having a bottom surface and a pair of side wall surfaces. The turbine impeller includes: a balancing load that is placed in the groove and made with the possibility of inserting from any position, in the circumferential direction, the holes of the groove and has a through hole open in the direction of one of the pair of side wall surfaces; and a retaining element that contacts a section of one of the pair of surfaces of the side wall in a state when it is inserted into the through hole of the balancing load, thereby causing the balancing load to rest against the other one of the pair of surfaces of the side wall and be held in the groove. The groove has a set of engagement recesses provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on the bottom surface, or a protrusion of engagement installed in one of the installation recesses provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on the bottom surface, and protruding from the bottom surface. The balancing load has a gearing protrusion or a gearing groove that engages with one of the gearing recesses or the gearing protrusion of the groove, thereby limiting the displacement in the circumferential direction of the balancing load in the groove. It can suppress the residual tensile stress that occurs in the turbine impeller due to the attachment of the balancing load.
