FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed metered powder feed device incorporates the drive operated from the external power source. Powder feed device is coupled with the drive and runs, following the said drive, to displace powder in preset direction. The device comprises the chamber located nearby the powder feed part to receive powder displaced by previously mentioned part. The compressing part compacts displaced powder in the said chamber. The metered feed part separates required amount of powder from compacted one and discharges separated powder from the chamber.

EFFECT: uniform metering and efficient mixing of powder fed from powder metering device and plastic material.
