SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, endocrinology, and can be used in the diagnosis of autonomic polyneuropathy in patients with diabetic foot syndrome. In a patient at rest, in a sitting position, the initial temperature of the foot dorsum skin is measured, then a cold test is performed. After performing the test, re-measure the temperature of the foot dorsum skin and then repeat the temperature measurement every 5 minutes six times. The data is recorded on a graph. Then a temperature curve is built and the presence or absence of vegetative diabetic polyneuropathy is diagnosed in the patient.

EFFECT: invention allows reasonably carrying out preventive measures in patients with asymptomatic clinical picture and timely prescribing them adequate therapy due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
