FIELD: satellite communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to virtual transponders for satellites. Systems, methods and devices for implementing a virtual transponder with in-band telemetry are proposed. The disclosed method for implementing the virtual transponder with in-band telemetry includes transmitting, by a control center (CC of a tenant) of rented useful load (RUL), encrypted commands of the tenant to a control center (SOC) of a lessor spacecraft. The method also includes transmitting, by means of the control center of the lessor spacecraft, encrypted commands of the lessor and encrypted commands of the tenant to a vehicle. Besides, the method includes changing useful load configuration on the vehicle in accordance with unencrypted commands of the lessor and/or unencrypted commands of the tenant. Besides, the method includes transmitting useful load data to a receiving antenna of the lessor and/or a receiving antenna of the tenant. Besides, the method includes transmitting encrypted telemetry of the lessor to the control center of the lessor spacecraft. Besides, the method includes transmitting encrypted telemetry of the tenant to the receiving antenna of the tenant and transmitting, by means of the receiving antenna of the tenant, encrypted telemetry of the tenant to the control center of the rented useful load.
EFFECT: improvement in the transponder structure, which provides for confidentiality during resource allocating on the useful load.
